Tyler Fine Art is owned and operated by Thom and Jim Pegg.  The Pegg brothers have a combined fifty-seven years of experience buying and selling paintings.  They have owned solely or  partnered  galleries in St Louis, Chicago, Los Angeles and Indianapolis.  Thom Pegg acted as painting specialist for the Treadway-Toomey 20th Century Auction for twelve years (1995-2007) and led Heritage Auction Galleries in Dallas, TX to their first $1 million+ auction in 20th Century Art & Design.

The Peggs have participated in countless fine art shows from coast to coast for the past twenty years, including  the Los Angeles Art Show, New York Modernism, Los Angeles Modernism, Miami Modernism, US Artists (Philadelphia), Phoenix Antiques & Art Show (Phoenix Art Museum), and Winnetka Modernism.

The Pegg brothers have made a major impact on several American markets including record-breaking sales in African-American works;  St Louis, Chicago, and Indianapolis regional works of the 20th century and finally, works by the Magic Realists.

Tyler Fine Art is an important resource for both buying and selling quality works of art in the following categories:

*African-American
*Regionalist works from Missouri, Illinois and Indiana
*Early Modernism and Abstraction
*Magic Realism

We are also interested in estates of artists who worked pre-1950, even if they are obscure, and especially works by African-American painters and sculptors.

We would be happy to provide a list of public and private references.
